R&D Team
Led by Dr. Du Ying, Group Vice President, Senior Engineer, and Provincial-level Leading & Innovative Talent, the team boasts a comprehensive professional R&D workforce of over 100 members, covering diverse functions such as medicinal chemistry, synthesis, formulation, analysis, pharmacology, registration, medicine, clinical operations, drug safety and pharmacovigilance, data management and statistics, as well as quality control and assurance. Among the team, the proportion of members with master's or doctoral degrees exceeds 50%.
Professor Zhu was the former Deputy Director of the Medicine College of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, Director and doctoral supervisor of National Standardization Laboratory for Chinese Herbal Pharmacology (国家规范化中药药理实验室). Professor Zhu also served as an expert of Science & Technology Commission of Ministry of Education(国家教育部科学技术委员会), an assessment expert of Department of Life Science of National Natural Science Foundation(国家自然科学基金生命科学部) and a drug evaluation expert of China.
Professor Barratt is the Mayer Professor of Renal Medicine and Consultant Nephrologist of University of Leicester and leads the Mayer IgA Nephropathy Research Group at the University of Leicester. He is also the IgA nephropathy Rare Disease Group lead for the United Kingdom National Registry of Rare Kidney Diseases (RaDaR) and the convener of the steering committee of The International IgA Nephropathy Network. Professor Barratt regularly provides advice and guidance to companies submitting applications to the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the European Medicines Agency (EMA). He leads the IgAN group updating the international KIDGO guidelines on the clinical management of glomerular disease. Professor Barratt is also an editorial board member of authoritative journals, such as “Kidney International” and “Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology”, and has made outstanding contributions to the diagnosis and treatment of kidney disease and the development of new drugs.
